  Having grown up in Vaughan I had made my way through many Italian bakeries and what I like most about Emily's is that you can come here and sit down to have a great espresso, cappuccino or other artisan coffee and there is actually ample seating for a bakery. Some other places have great coffee but are too packed with the deli, bakery, groceries, etc. to have any place you can actually sit down, enjoy your coffee and chat with a friend. This isn't the closest bakery of it's type to me but I will go a little further for a comfortable spot with excellent coffee.

  Amazing food! Friendly helpful staff. Nice seating area and lots of great bread and pastries to take home!

  Expresso had a sour aftertaste. Not as good as described. Also Coffee tasted like watered down and light. A great place for non coffee drinkers. I'll help you guys out. Coffee and espresso was prepared too soon after roasting. This "fresh", sharp, sour flavor is associated with espresso coffee whose CO2 gasses haven't yet escaped and allowed the beans to, well, mellow. Aka UnderExtraction !

  My first experience here this past Saturday made me love this place immediately. I would not classify it as just a bakery as they have a deli, a hot table and a little cafe in addition to the vast variety of breads, cakes and pastries displayed beautifully. My espresso was well made with care and attention which I appreciated. Service was fast but they let me take time to enjoy it before paying which made me feel welcome. I was able to sit and enjoy a chat with a friend in comfort and I'll definitely be coming back to this place. I love that I can meet someone for coffee here instead of any old chain coffee place.

  Decent food but they need to hire proper cleaners. Especially the washrooms. They are also a bit over priced.
