  I literally called 4 Canadian Tire stores and all of them explained that I would have to leave bike and wait at least 2 weeks before I hear back from their bike technician because he only shows up twice a month at this time of year even though the bike is a Canadian Tire - Supercycle Solaris.

  I had such a great experience at Harvester Bikes. I know nothing of wheel repairs on bikes so I went in on Saturday to have my two small boys bikes fixed as they had flat tires. The gentleman that serviced the bikes took the time to fix the wheels and fix the chain on one of the bikes. The service was friendly, courteous and most of all quick. I will definitely be coming back as I was very impressed with their customer service, wide selection of bikes and overall positive experience!.

  If you live in Thornhill, or even north of the 401, you will notice a dearth of bike shops, especially west of Bathurst. Lucky for us, I discovered Harvester Bikes. I won't pretend it's a huge store or easy to find, but if you are the Dufferin/Centre/7 area, it is worth the trip. They are simple, down to earth, and provide excellent friendly service at a very affordable price. I have been there on occasion for small evaluations and Anthony and his staff ave been most courteous and welcoming. It is very likely that when I finally decide to buy a new bicycle, it will be from Harvester.
