  Can anyone please explain to me why the location of this consulate is in the middle of nowhere? The Indian consulate is located mid town, even the Afghanistan consulate is located in the financial district. While to access this place, you have to trek all the way to the north west of the city. It is not even in Toronto technically. Way to go!

  They have many signs in the room that talk about having patience and that violence is prohibited, etc. The representative I was dealing with was so rude and impatient with me, with the goal of just finishing his conversation with me. Some of their processes are quite confusing (as is to be expected). So I asked a couple of questions and received ridiculous, rude replies including "that's *your* problem". I decided to just visit several forums to find out the answers to my questions.

  However their was one person who knew the counsellor or someone at the consulate and wanted his things on priority. He was just shouting on everyone and felt entitled to a VIP treatment. Absolute idiot!

  It's really when you have to interact with their staff for more than 2 minutes and get clarification on processes that you realize how rude they can be. Shameful...

  Still can’t believe that this was the Pakistan consulate. Coming from Dubai where the state of affairs is absolutely horrible this was a pleasant surprise. The guy on he information wanted to actually help and provide information. The guy on the NICOP receipt counter was very respectful and helpful.

  This consulate has improved a lot, now you can get your turn quickly and their staff has become very helpful and responsive. They still needs to improve their services on their website.
